Heather Millington, Head of Quality at Kedleston Group, said: “We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our Year 11 leavers, and they should be rightly proud of themselves. Through their hard work and determination, they have gained an impressive set of qualifications which will provide a great foundation on which to build for their future.
“Their positive destinations demonstrate just how diverse and far reaching their ambitions are, and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.”
Kedleston operates schools which provide educational and care settings for young people with autism and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Many of the students supported by the schools have experienced significant challenges during their education and in many cases, have been out of education for months or years before coming to a Kedleston school or to live in a Kedleston home.
The schools are focused on helping young people achieve the skills they need to succeed when they leave school, getting them ready for further education and the workplace.
