Kedleston Group are proud to announce that all of our 12 provisions – day schools, residential schools and children’s homes – are rated Good or Outstanding by our regulator Ofsted. Our aim, of course, is to create a family of 12 (and soon to be 13) Outstanding schools and homes.
The latest school to receive the Good rating is High Peak School in Cheshire, one of our three specialist day and residential schools which has received the rating for both its educational provision and its care.
Its fellow residential school Wings Notts is in fact a “triple outstanding” having received three “outstanding” ratings for care in a row.
Among our day schools, one of our newest additions, Brookways School in London, was found to be Good with Outstanding features, a fantastic achievement given the school only opened a little over a year ago while our very latest school, Arc Oakbridge School in Birmingham’s city centre was rated “Good” in its first inspection, just a few months after opening.
Chief Executive of Kedleston Group, Paul Brosnan, said: “In our 13th year, we are celebrating many aspects of success.
“Ensuring we provide great education, care and support for the young people in our schools and homes is our priority always and we’re delighted that Ofsted rate all of our provisions as Good or Outstanding, and in many cases, outstanding features are noted in the schools rated as Good.
“This is down in no small way to the staff who work so hard within our schools and homes, and I’d like to personally thank them for their hard work, commitment and dedication to doing the very best for each and every child in our care.
“Our goal of course, is to take all of our provisions to Outstanding. We believe in providing the very best for the young people we support and we want to see outstanding across the board!”
