Arc School Ansley saw 100% of its Year 11 leavers move on to further education, training or employment with 100% also gaining a qualification in Maths and English.
Between them young people across the school achieved qualifications which included GCSEs and Entry Levels in subjects including Maths, English, ICT, PHSE, Engineering and First Aid. One student gained three GCSEs including Combined Science.
Their achievements have helped them secure places at mainstream colleges to study a wide range of subjects.
Dr Lynda Mitchell, Kedleston Group’s Director of Quality and Compliance, said: "Despite the challenges presented to our young people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our leavers are moving on to further education in mainstream colleges or into training in an apprenticeships, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
“They have worked so hard to achieve each and every one of these fantastic qualifications and have shown great determination and resilience in doing so. Our aim is to always nurture individual talents and interests and the wide range of subjects our students will go on to study reflects the diverse range of subjects we offer or support children to engage with both within and outside of our school.
“These qualifications give them a firm foundation on which to build success in their futures and we wish them the best in their next steps.”
