The fantastic Stockport County Community Sports and Education Foundation are having such a huge impact on the children and young people at High Peak School.
They come to the school once a week to deliver bespoke football training sessions and this week even brought a long a very special visitor to help with the training, the Stockport County player Sam Minihan.
The children and young people are always thoroughly inspired, engaged and have been giving the sessions 100% of their attention and focus. They really are a credit to the school and we are so proud of how they are all improving.
High Peak School is an independent specialist day and residential school situated in the stunning Cheshire countryside. From the beautiful rural location, the school can offer innovative and inspiring learning, social, recreational and living spaces.
Football gives many health benefits for children, both physical and mental. It's a physically demanding game that provides an opportunity for players to improve their speed, agility, strength, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and overall cardiovascular endurance.
Thank you to the support from Stockport County, we look forward to many more brilliant sessions with you.
