Kedleston Group is trialling the use of VR headsets in one of its schools. The use of VR technology is emerging as a useful tool for people on the autistic spectrum and as a way of neurotypical people being able to gain some insight into what people on the autistic spectrum experience.
Headteachers and principals are experiencing the VR technology so that they understand how it might be used in Kedleston’s schools.
Arc School Oakbridge is the first school in the group to roll out the headsets for its young people. Headteacher, Phil Petch is looking forward to undertaking a full evaluation.
