We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new residential children’s home in Buxton which will support young people to achieve positive outcomes and fulfil their potential.
Part of the Kedleston Group, the home, called Dovedale House, will support children aged up to 16. It will provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming home for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as those with autism or a learning disability.
We are really pleased to have appointed Tracey Power as the fantastic Registered Manager for the home.
Tracey has worked within the Health and Social Care sector for around 25 years in a variety of settings. Her passion lies with working with children and young people and empowering them to aspire to be the best version of themselves that they can be.
She started off her career with children and young people in a crisis intervention setting where the focus was on outdoor pursuits.
She has also had the opportunity to work with children and young people experiencing child sexual exploitation, county lines, harmful sexual behaviours and mental health needs.
In her most recent Registered Manager role the children’s home specialised in working with children and young people with specific mental health needs who needed tailored support and guidance to help safeguard and protect them.
“To be on the journey with our young people enabling them to aspire to be all they can be is what motivates me to do this role.” says Tracey
Welcome to the Kedleston Group family, we are really happy to have you on board to lead this new venture.
