Olsen House had recently set up a link with The Red Box project. It is a community-based charity which aims to support young people throughout their periods by providing red boxes filled with free period products to local schools.

The red box project was founded in March 2017 by three friends after they read about Period poverty. They were angered that young women were missing time from their education as they could not afford products during their periods.

Olsen House’s  Miss Tripp has liaised with the charity to set up this link.
