It’s been another busy week at Olsen, students have completed a lot of work in subject areas and had fun on enrichment.
Key Stage 3 attended Martin Mere Wetland Centre. They enjoyed looking at the different species of birds and particularly enjoyed looking at the Otters and learning about them.
Key stage 4 travelled to Flintshire in North Wales to Wepre Park & Ewloe Castle. They enjoyed walking through the ancient woodland and exploring the ruins of Ewloe Castle, which is believed to have been built in 1255.
Bluebird students went on a trip to Crosby beach, home to the Anthony Gormley statues. They collected different types of stones, rocks and shells to use in their Art project next half term. They burned off some energy playing on the beach and sand dunes.
